How Many Cloth Diapers Do I Need to Get Started?
Newborns: 20-24 Cloth Diapers
Newborns poop…. A LOT! Newborns will go through about 12-15 diapers per day. For an every other day wash routine, 20-24 cloth diapers are recommended.

Infants (6-12 months): 14-18 Cloth Diapers
Once your baby is out of the newborn “poops all the time” phase, their bladders grow and are able to hold more urine. They will also begin to settle into a semi “poop routine”. At this stage, they will go through about 7-9 diapers a day. For an every other day wash routine, 14-18 cloth diapers are recommended.

Older babies (12-24+months): 12-16 Cloth Diapers
Older babies will begin peeing less often and only go through about 6-8 diapers a day. For an every other day wash routine, 12-16 diapers are recommended.
Potty Training: 4-8 Cloth Trainers
As your toddler is ready to enter the potty training stage, you will need about 4-8 training pants. Having a few diapers for naps and overnights is also recommended.
